Between the Advents
Current Sermon Series | December 7 - December 28
Before the birth of Jesus, Israel eagerly awaited the Messiah—God’s return to them. His Advent brought the Kingdom of God closer, where hope, peace, joy, and love flourished among His followers. The book of Revelation foretells a second Advent, a final one, where Christ will return as promised, sent once more by God the Father. As we celebrate Christmas this year, let us focus on how we are called to live between the Advents. What hope, peace, joy, and love should we cultivate amidst a broken world? How does Revelation inspire us, just as it did those at the end of the first century, to remain faithful to the Kingdom of God?

December
We are excited for Christmas this year. Our December teaching series is focused in the book of Revelation. We will have the opportunity to bless our missionaries through the Angel Tree again. We’ll bless those working around Lansing on Christmas Eve through Donut Drop. And, we will gather together at 6pm as a people to reflect on the light the Jesus brings to the world on Christmas Eve. It is going to be a grand Christmas season!
Angel Tree
Now Through January 4
The Christmas trees on the wall in the church lobby is an excellent way to partner together and show generosity to our brothers and sisters across the globe! Paper tags hang on the branches. You can select a tag from the tree in person or you can fill out the digital form here, select from the list, and then donate! When everything is collected, we'll write one big check to each of our missionaries and send their gifts out. Thank you for your generosity!
Sunday Lunch Fellowship

A few Sundays each year, we make our way to Texas Roadhouse after the gathering for some great food and even better company. Whether you’re new or you’ve been around for years, it’s an easy (and delicious) way to connect.
