Are We Still These People?
Current Sermon Series | January 4 - January 25
In Matthew 5 – part of his famous Sermon on the Mount – Jesus repeats this formula over and over again: “You have heard it said, but I say.” As he does so, he makes some extreme statements about the way his followers should live their lives. When we read the rest of the New Testament, we see that these people took Jesus at his word and lived radical lives. But do followers of Jesus do the same today? Do we believe that Jesus was serious when he said these things? Will we choose to actually live as he says? Are we still these people?
Annual Meeting
Sunday, January 18 | After Gathering
Our Annual Meeting is a great chance to gather around the table as a church family and share a meal It’s a potluck, so bring a favorite dish and come ready to eat, connect, and celebrate. We’ll spend some time looking back at all God did in 2025 and hearing from church leadership about what’s ahead in 2026. It’s a meaningful evening to stay in the loop, give thanks, and look forward to what God is doing next.
There may also be a fun, quietly planned surprise during the event to celebrate a very special milestone for one of our favorite people. No spoilers—but you’ll want to be there.
Sunday Lunch Fellowship
Select Sundays | Texas Roadhouse | 11:30
A few Sundays each year, we make our way to Texas Roadhouse after the gathering for some great food and even better company. Whether you’re new or you’ve been around for years, it’s an easy (and delicious) way to connect.
To help us warn the servers how many baskets of rolls we’ll need, please register ahead of time—then come hungry
